DRUG WAR TAKING TOLL ON PERSONAL FREEDOMS
One really has to question Yvonne Holden's logic in her letter, "Court was
right to make drug charge a felony" Journal, July 3.
Wasting taxpayer funds and the legal system's time to tar Steve Kubby with
a felony over a miniscule piece of peyote button that was found in a guest
room others had access to demonstrates how insane this war on drugs has
become. People like Holden will never drive drugs from Placer County, but
they've done a good job driving out the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
