Re: House arrests. It's a complete disregard to our law enforcement efforts when weak sentences are being handed down by our courts. We preach to our children and grandchildren and others of the dangers and consequences when involved in drugs. When these individuals are apprehended, the courts seem to think that a slap on the wrist is sufficient. These individuals knew, at the time of their illegal activities, that they were committing a crime. We the taxpayers believe that a person convicted of illegal activities should be penalized with a prison sentence, not house arrest. What a joke. [continues 94 words]
