One of your articles addresses the issue of mixed messages about drugs from those who are responsible to fight this war. You are correct and I see that as a real problem. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for using precious space in your paper to address such an important issue. At a recent National Association of Counties conference, I attended a seminar where presenters stated that there is a group called MAMA that is attempting to get into the school system to teach children how to use drugs responsibly. The group is also responsible for a ballot initiative in November 2000 to legalize marijuana in Florida. I plan to do everything I can to fight against this issue and continue fighting the war on drugs. - --- MAP posted-by: Keith Brilhart
