The bodies, blindfolded and cuffed, were inside an abandoned luxury car near the hamlet of Lucio Blanco, 14 miles from the border town of Matamoros, across from Brownsville, Texas, Notimex said, quoting police. Investigators believe that the victims were gunmen for a former head of the Gulf drug cartel, and the gangland-style kiIling suggests that. it was carried out by other drug dealers, Medina said. Two of the victims have been identified as former state policemen. - --- MAP posted-by: Richard Lake
