NAPLES POLICE UNDER FIRE

NAPLES, Fla., April 15 (UPI) - A 12-year veteran of the Naples Police
Department and others on the force have been the subject of an
internal affairs probe.

Sgt. Pete Lewkowicz will go before a termination board next week after
an investigation revealed he lied about having sexual relations with a
police informant. That information caused four cocaine arrests to be
dropped.

Officer Jeff Schwab has been accused of being under the influence of
alcohol while on the gun range.

Internal investigators are also checking reports that as many as 30
Naples off-duty officers attended a batchlor's party with a stripper,
a party that may have included criminal conduct.
