DRUG MULE DIES OF OVERDOSE

(HOWARD COUNTY) - We now know more about the man whose body was found
Tuesday in Howard County in a shipment of bananas.

U.S. Customs officials say the man was a drug mule - that means he had
ingested baggies containing six kilograms of cocaine - with plans of
later removing the drugs for sale.

It's believed the bags broke, causing a drug overdose.

The stowaway is believed to have hidden himself among the boxed
bananas when they were loaded in the country of Colombia.

The unidentified man brought a flashlight, a shaving kit, food and
water with him. Officials believe the baggies must have broken early
in his trip, because he still had most of his food when his body was
found.
