MCCOLLUM CONCERNED ABOUT MEDICAL MARIJUANA

(WASHINGTON)- Florida Congressman Bill McCollum says he's deeply
concerned about a recommendation by a panel of medical experts urging
the federal government to allow scientific tests to determine the best
way to use marijuana to benefit people suffering from cancer and
AIDS. A leader in the fight against medical marijuana, McCollum says
the report may encourage people to smoke pot. The doctors say active
ingrediants in marijuana can ease pain, nausea and vomiting.
