CHEATING BECOMES A VIABLE BUSINESS

To the editor:

Being new to this area and the Telegram-Tribune, I was very encouraged
to read others' reactions to the article presenting thwarting drug
tests as a bona fide, acceptable business.

I couldn't believe what was right there in black and white.
Thankfully, drugs are illegal. Being of the old school, I believe
cheating is also illegal.

I appreciated the letter from Glenn Strauser who applied the whole
Bible to the situation rather than selected "proof texts."

Look how low situational ethics has brought our society. Breaking the
law and cheating is now acceptable, even promoted as an accept- able
business. The editor of a business page apparently doesn't have a
problem with promoting such activity.

Continuing my subscription is still debatable. Besides letters to the
editor, I have been very impressed with the column by Thomas Sowell.
He seems to go straight to the core of an issue. It is re-freshing to
read a column that clears the fog. If only politicians knew how to do
the same.
