about this police killing in two days.

ALL TOO PREVENTABLE
Killings by police are becoming much too frequent. Training is required for
all, from the chief down to the officer on the beat.

Police should not be Gestapo agents. Charging into homes is not the American
way. A little more investigation would have prevented this.

We currently have the equipment to listen through walls and tap telephones.
Yes, this is slower, but the results are much better for all concerned.

Now officer Alan Hill has to live with his actions. That will not be easy --
ask any cop who has been involved in a shootout.
