IT WON'T WORK

Legalizing drugs is not going to help the drug problem one little bit. Has
it helped alcoholics? Has it helped all of the kids who died due to driving
under the influence or being hit by someone driving under the influence?

I don't care what anybody tells you. I am a reformed, or recovering,
junkie. I started shooting up when I was 16 because it was so easy to get.
Just imagine if it was legal.

I wasted so many years of my life due to drugs and alcohol. These two forms
of entertainment promote everything from violence to unsafe sex. I give
glory to Christ for delivering me from all forms of addiction.

If we think our country is short on moral thinking today, just wait to see
what happens if cocaine and shooting up crank or, to be politically
correct, methamphetamine, become legal. That is exactly what the dealers
are waiting for. That way they don't have to hide. They can kill our kids
legally. But we know what they'll say: "Use drugs responsibly" or "Don't
fix and drive!"
