CLAPTON FEARS BECOMING A THERAPY BORE

Eric Clapton has spent so much time and money
involved with therapy centres in London and Antigua that he is afraid
of becoming an anti-drugs bore.

The COCAINE hitmaker reveals that he has been working as a part-time
unpaid member of staff at the Priory Clinic in south west London for
several years.

This year (98) he spent $11 million of his personal fortune on building the
Crossroads Centre, a rehab clinic in Antigua, the Caribbean island where he
has had a home for 11 years.

But Clapton fears that his new obsession will turn him into a bore
saying, "Oh God, yes, I dread becoming a therapy bore. I love therapy,
and the last thing I want to do is give it a bad name.
