When it comes to America's Drug War, I pray for our
children.

I pray for our children when they're old enough to inherit the largest
prison system the world has ever known. I pray that none of our
children are killed by narco-thugs who became billionaires overnight
due to drug prohibition. I pray that none of our children will
contract AIDS, which continues to spread due to drug
prohibition.

I pray that our children will still respect authority after they kick
in grandma's door and take her house away for smoking marijuana for
her glaucoma. I pray that our children will never question their
Czar- after all, he's fighting for democracy.

I pray that our children will have the good sense to not try hard
drugs once they realize we've 'exaggerated' to them about marijuana.

I pray that our children never find out about Holland's drug policy
where marijuana is decriminalized, hard drug use is medicalized and
monitored, and there is no big drug "problem." It might confuse them.

And finally, I pray that our children won't grow up to hate us when we
force the whole world's structure to collapse in an effort to 'save'
them.

Amen.
