The privacy commissioner, Bruce Phillips warns us we are moving closer
to a police state. He is too late. In an effort to protect us from the
evil scourge of (some) drugs, politicians have already sacrificed hard
fought for rights on the Prohibition alter.

Warrantless searches, confiscation of property, and interception of
private telephone calls are now commonplace. All police state tatics
that have not detered one single sale. Now encryption software sales
will be sacrificed as drug warriors reach ever deeper to justify their
own exsistance. Do we really need this expensive intrusion into our
private lives? Do away with prohibition and embrace freedom.
