Alcohol

We glorify this dangerous drug

A rose by any other name smells the same. Well a drug by any other name
kills the same. The overdose
of a 14yearold girl on alcohol should drive that point home. In fact
more young people will die as a
result of alcohol than all illegal drugs combined.

So the cute story on beercan tossing at Skagit Speedway seems way out
in left field. I mean, what's
next, hypodermicneedle darts or crackcocaine rock golf?

The hypocrisy of this drug war never ceases to amaze me. We attack
people for using some
substances, while glorifying far more dangerous drugs like alcohol
through television and newspapers.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a duck. If it
impairs like a drug and kills like a drug,
it's a drug.
