GUIDELINES NEEDED

Re: What's missing in Ontario's approach to marijuana distribution -
Sept. 18

Ontario doesn't deserve any credit for "forging ahead with guidelines
for its legal marijuana distribution system."

Marijuana is a drug, which apart from medicinal purposes and extra tax
revenue, will only impact society negatively.

Before they go ahead with a distribution system, the Liberal
government should have outlined very clearly all the expected
guidelines for distributors. Instead, "no consideration has been given
to edible cannabis products," and "guidelines for home cultivation and
use" haven't been properly outlined - especially for homes with
children. Do the Liberals want the next generation to be one which
grows up eating marijuana in their after school snack of milk and cookies?

Legalizing marijuana is already a highly controversial topic. If the
Liberals are not prepared with proper guidelines for distributing
legal marijuana, why are they trying to bring it to the streets of
Ontario as soon as July 2018?
