UNTOLD BENEFITS

With a few exceptions, I understand as of July 1, 2018, it will no
longer be a crime in for a person over age 18 to possess 30 grams or
less of marijuana.

It will also be OK for a gardener to grow four or less plants for
himself or herself.

Last time I tried smoking this stuff, I was in my twenties, so over
forty years ago; but I'll give it a try again. At age 68, I don't
worry so much now about what affect it might have on my future.

Last time I used, I was doing a landscaping job operating a
wheelbarrow. I found it remarkable how light and painlessly a
wheelbarrow full of earth can be moved around when high on pot.

It's not beyond comprehension that many pain-stricken older Canadians
might benefit from the freedom of movement edible consumption of this
relatively harmless plant might provide.

I guess once legalized, it would only be fair to grant freedom to
those convicted of prior minor offences and wipe clean their criminal
record.

Thus we have some of the smartest Canadians back at
work.
