RUSH TO LEGALIZE POT LEAVES CANADIANS IN THE DARK

Re Ottawa's pot adviser warns more info needed before legalization,
April 4

This report mirrors advice given to the Trudeau government by the
Colorado government when it warned legalization of marijuana is the
easy part, everything that comes thereafter is much more difficult.

In its rush to fulfil an election promise and reap the billions in
sales, the government is not giving Canadians the information they
need to make informed decisions once legalization happens in July 2018.

Although the Canadian Medical Association recommended nobody be
allowed to purchase the drug under 21, because of the serious harm to
young developing brains, the Trudeau government is allowing purchase
at 18.

It also seems oblivious to the increased number of impaired drivers
legalization will add to our roads and huge negative impact to our
struggling health-care services.
