Are marijuana lobbyists trying to change our state's name to
"Marizona" with Prop. 205 legalizing recreational marijuana? Prop 205
allows for the untaxed sale of marijuana products with a concentration
of THC of 0.3 percent or less, classified as legal industrial hemp, to
be sold without age restriction. That will apply to some marijuana
candy and other edibles such as the chocolate THC- laced "Boulder Bar"
sold in Colorado to be considered hemp under Prop 205 though it
contains 10 servings of THC.

Media and health organizations should provide information on the side
effects and hazards of legalizing recreational marijuana and the
dangerous scenarios that are unfolding in states that have legalized
it. Mental and physical health effects, permanent brain damage for
younger users, delinquency, increased auto accidents and insurance
rates, social service demands, crime and more are reality.

Big marijuana is banking on Prop 205, hoping it can convince us that
more marijuana will make safer communities and be good for education.
Fool us once Big Marijuana, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us.
Please really protect our kids and communities. Vote No on Prop 205.
