APPROVING MEASURE L WOULD BE A HUGE MISTAKE

It's 2017. A little boy is walking down a street in downtown Chico
with his grandmother. The little boy looks up and ask, : "Grandma,
what's that smell?" Grandma looks down and replies, "That's the smell
of marijuana growing in back yards throughout the city. Smells like
skunks doesn't it?"

Then the little boy points to a bum lying in the street in their
path. He points and says, "Why is he laying there? And why are those
others lined up in front of that store?" The grandmother replies,
"Well sweetheart, they are lining up to buy their marijuana from
those dispensaries on every street corner."

"Why?" the little boy asks again. "Well dear, the people of Butte
County didn't pay attention and let Measure L pass last Nov. 8
(2016), and it gave permission to all the residents to grow their pot
and sell it every 1,000 feet," said the grandma angrily.

"Gee Grandma, I guess they should have paid more attention."

Please pay attention to Measure L on Nov. 8. We can't take it back
once this evil invades our city and our county. Vote no on L.
