SHOOT-TO-KILL ORDER

PRESIDENT Rody Duterte on Friday repeated his "shoot-to-kill" order
against those involved in the illegal drugs trade who would resist arrest.

His shoot-to-kill order is really meant for the police to kill.
"Shoot to kill is to shoot and kill him. I don't want the police
wasting bullets," he said.

Waste the drug traders, not the bullets.

President Rody also guaranteed to answer for state forces involved in
shooting incidents related to their duty in the war against drugs.

"For as long as it is done in the performance of the duty by the
police and soldiers, that is my responsibility, that is my official
and personal guarantee," he said.

He didn't say where he addressed this when he said, "If there are
police involved in an encounter, do not investigate them anymore,
that is my order."

Duterte earlier issued made a "shoot on sight" order against Albuera,
Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr. and his son Kerwin for their alleged
drug ties.

The mayor has surrendered and is now staying in PNP Chief Ronald
"Bato" dela Rosa's White House in Camp Crame, but his son, Kerwin,
remains at large.

The shoot on sight order scared the father, but not the son. This
isn't a case of like father, like son.

President Rody has acknowledged abuses in the battle against illegal
drugs, which has left more than 400 suspects dead.

He said most drug dealers and addicts slain in gunbattles with police
had put up a fight. But some were "salvaged," a local term for
extrajudicial killings usually by law enforcers.

He said the government will investigate illegal killings. But the
shoot-to-kill order stands.

President Rody said taking a human life is not easy. But he doesn't
care as long as he will end illegal drugs in the country.

He still doesn't care even if he goes to hell. "If I go to hell, I'll
kick Satan out," he said.

He gives hell to drug dealers on earth, and why not give hell to Satan himself?
