ALL-OUT WAR VS ILLEGAL DRUGS, CROOKS; THE 'DU30 EFFECT' NOW BEING FELT

PRESIDENT Rodrigo R. Duterte's all-out war against illegal drugs and
other crimes is now gaining momentum nationwide.

More drug lords and pushers are now being arrested or shot dead.

*

While many drug lords, pushers, and users have decided to surrender,
many illegal terminal operators and traders in Metro Manila have
likewise temporarily suspended their business for fear of being
spotted by Duterte and his boys, thus improving the traffic situation.

Let them run for their lives or return to their senses. And let's
welcome the DU30 Effect.

*

Likewise, PNP Chief "Bato" de la Rosa disclosed that several officers
and members of the PNP have been found positive of illegal drugs use,
hence may be kicked out soon.

Police scalawags confirmed for termination. Whew!

*

As this develops, Sen. Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Angara said he sees no
problem with Duterte's move to cleanse the country of illegal drugs
and PNP of scalawags.

"Sobra na ang problema sa droga ng bansa .That'is why I support his
call for an all-out war against drugs. We also support measures to
help rid the police of scalawags," he said.

*

Duterte had earlier asked three police generals and other policemen
reportedly involved in the illegal drugs trade not to wait but to
resign this early to prevent being humiliated.

Translation: Go now or I'll drag you out!

*

Sen. Gregorio "Gringo" Honasan II also said he believes the
President-elect has enough reason to make such statements being a
recipient of corroborating information.

"He is trying to spare the PNP and the police officers involved from
public humiliation and further damage to the institution," he added.

*

In a televised speech earlier in Davao City, Duterte rallied the huge
crowd to support the battle against drugs and other crimes and they
would be rewarded.

"Please feel free to call us, the police, or do it yourself if you
have the gun ...If a drug dealer resists arrest or refuses to be
brought to a police station and threatens a citizen with a gun or a
knife, you can kill him. Shoot him and I'll give you a medal," he said.

*

Also warning erring cops, the PNP said at least 91 policemen,
including a superintendent, are currently facing administrative
charges in connection with illegal drugs activities.

Your days are numbered, "Bato" warned.

*

De la Rosa said he has given the PNP leadership a three-month
deadline for all regional directors (RDs) in the country to clear
their respective areas of responsibility (AORs) of illegal drugs by
at least 50 percent.

"Regional commanders is to clear their regions of illegal drugs by at
least 50 percent in three months." he ordered.

*

He warned that he will not hesitate to sack RDs of regional police
commands if they fail to accomplish the target.

The first "judgment day," for the RDs is first week of September,
2016, "Bato" said.

*

Dela Rosa instructed all the 18 Police Regional Office (PRO)
directors of the country to monitor the performance of their
respective Provincial Directors (PDs) and City Directors (CDs) on a
weekly basis.

" This is a serious campaign and we have a target to accomplish, so
everybody must do his part or be relieved," Dela Rosa stressed.

*

Dela Rosa said that their target is to stop the illegal drugs
operations in six months through the "Double Barrel" way or
simultaneously hitting drug lords and pusher.

Yes to "double barrel" anti-drugs strategy. Yes to greater DU30 Effect!
