VANDALISM SAYS A LOT ABOUT MEASURE G, H OPPONENTS

The behavior of a group tells a lot about the character of its members.

The people backing yes on G, yes on H donated money and purchased
signs. Yes on G, yes on H signs were put on sites with permission of
property owners. The signs have been torn down, stolen and
vandalized. Photos of one sign are available where supporters of "No
on G/H" spray painted out the "Yes" part of the sign, and stenciled
in "No" using the same sign colors.

This is criminal vandalism, but there is a more sinister message
here. Spray painting the opposing campaign's signs is a slap in the
face to every Butte County voter who respects and participates in the
election process.

The vandals who steal and deface the yes on G, yes on H signs are
sending a message to the entire county. The message is that they can
do as they please, and they can disrespect the election process -
much as they disrespected voters who passed Measure A, and did not
pay fines for growing excessive amounts of illegal marijuana.

Butte County voters, send the bullies a message. Tell them you see
what they are doing, and you don't approve. Support the election
process. Vote yes on G, yes on H and let illegal for-profit marijuana
growers know Butte County meant it when we passed Measure A.
