The premiere event, produced by the Mendo Grow Show is slated to offer guests a "down to earth" country fair atmosphere. The event will feature workshops and presentations focused upon education, medical cannabis farming and the cannabis industry, featuring topics focused upon sustainability, safety and ethics. Presentations will feature a mix of county and state government officials, local and national cannabis activists and top industry experts speaking on a variety of topics including non-combustible concentrate production, laboratory testing, cannabis law, canna-business and much more. The event will kick off and conclude with a ceremony presented by the Round Valley Feather Dancers. Confirmed speakers and presenters include: Valerie Corral, Executive Director and co-founder of the Wo/Men's Alliance for Medical Marijuana and Raha Kudo, Design for Dying Project. Fred Gardner, Founder and publisher of O'Shughnessy's, the journal of cannabis in clinical practice. Michael Krawitz, Executive Director of Veterans for Medical Cannabis Access Don Wirtshafter, Attorney and founder of GW Pharmaceuticals Casey O'Neil, Board Chairperson, California Growers Association and CSA Farmer Samantha Miller, President and Chief Scientist of Pure Analytics, LLC Liana Held, CEO of Liana Limited, a cannabis accounting, HR, managerial service E.D. Lerman, Cannabis Defense Attorney Many more speakers and panels are being finalized, according to Rea. Musical offerings will take place throughout the event. Musical acts include Roots Underground, Roy Rogers, El Camino, Richie Blue, The Pulsators, Junior Toots, Charlie Crockett, Mendo Dope and the Real Sarah's. Ngaio Bealum, actor and comedian will be hosting the event. Food and product vendors as well as a "215 Area" accessible to those possessing valid California Medical Cannabis recommendations will offer guests two full days of education, entertainment, community and fun.
