SUPPORTERS READY TO ROCK FOR PRICE

A number of supporters want to help Glenn Price pay the bills for his
fight in court.

Todd Cook has organized a benefit show to be held at the Windsor Hotel
on Friday to raise money to help the owner of Your Medical Cannabis
Headquarters to help cover the costs of his legal fees. Price was
thrust into the spotlight this summer when his operation was selling
medical marijuana without the legal right to do so. He was eventually
arrested and now faces the legal battle.

"I'm doing this to help pay for Glenn's legal fees and to bring
awareness to the medical cannabis issue," Cook said.

The show will feature the bands Spine of Earth, Strapless and Head
Speaks Truth. Tickets will be sold for $10 each and T-shirts will be
sold.

Cook and others are hoping that Price's shop will eventually become a
legal dispensary, like some in Vancouver.

"I use medical cannabis to relieve my pain," he said. "I was injured
at work (heavy construction) 15 years ago. I had three lower discs
bulge out and spinal deterioration disease as well. I was on
painkillers for years but the medical cannabis completely turned my
life around."

Price, who faces drug trafficking and possession-related charges, is
scheduled to appear in court Oct. 14.

"Patients deserve more options," said Janice Davis of the Human
Solution International. "Dispensary owners like Glenn Price deserve a
chance to prove themselves."

Price said his legal fees could be "tens of thousands of
dollars."

"I think it's excellent that people are standing up for a cause,"
Price said. "I wish more people would stand up because that's how
we'll make change."
