The problem I see is similar to the problem we have had with alcohol as it has pertained to teens over the years ("Pot group, Husted at odds over signatures," Dispatch article, July 30). It seems we cannot find a way to stop teenage drinking. I see this type of problem growing with legalized pot. Once we legalize pot use, its use by minors will be worse than ever. I don't know the answer to this problem but I'm sure it's not with ResponsibleOhio, the organization pushing a marijuana-legalization constitutional amendment for the Nov. 3 ballot. It appears that the group's goal is to earn large sums of money. I lost a son to drug use several years ago and even though his death did not come from marijuana, that's where his need to get high began. I hope that responsible adults who have children think beyond their desire to get high on pot, and search for a better way to enjoy themselves. JOHN C.
