The company lists its home base as 2508 E. Bijou St., which is also home to Speak Easy Vape Lounge, but a man who wished to be identified only as Tony Dabz, because of the risk to his day job, says Dab Queenz can be found at marijuana events, on Facebook and in local advertising campaigns. "We are a local Dab Community network for 420-related events. Dab-tending at events & festivals," Dabz writes in a Facebook message to the Indy. "We have helped get portfolios started for girls by having a photo shoot for a Pipe's Peak Head Shop print ad held inside Speak Easy Vape Lounge with Dab Queenz models." First, the capital city has followed Colorado Springs in launching a marijuana-focused radio station: Mile High Sports Radio is now KBUD-FM, "also known as Smokin 94.1," writes Westword. The paper reports that the station was recently sold, with another station, to Marco Broadcasting for $875,000. "I have created a unique radio format, there is no radio station anywhere in the country like Smokin 94.1," owner Marc Paskin tells allaccess.com, noting the presence of a syndicated shock jock. "There is not a better fit for our mornings than Bubba the Love Sponge. He loves weed, fast cars, hot girls, and rock music. I think Bubba will take Denver by storm!" Second is Denver's reportedly first marijuana hotel. The Nativ Hotel (1612 Wazee St., nativhotels.com) has "door bells on rooms, living plant walls on our outdoor patios where guests can consume marijuana on their stays, the Stereo Lounge in the basement, and original art work throughout the hotel," owner Mike Alexander tells FOX 31. "We even have a coffee bar specializing in CBD infused lattes." On the Sunday, June 7 edition of Face the Nation, he was asked if he would seek federal marijuana prosecutions in states where the plant is legal - if he were president.
