POT TRADERS NEED TO LISTEN TO BUTTE COUNTY VOTERS

The people voted but the whining continues. The pot traders didn't
get their own way, and now they are filing a lawsuit.

They were the ones who wanted the initiatives back on the ballot.
They were the ones who hired paid signature gatherers. They were the
ones who wanted the referendum. They were the ones who weren't even
happy about their own initiative, which allowed up to 99 plants, legally.

No, they wanted to control the Board of Supervisors, demanding no
amendments to their initiatives. Since when do a bunch of potheads
make policy for the county? Oh, sorry, pot "patients."

Well they got their way and got their Measure B on the ballot. We the
people countered with Measure A. And guess who won? We the people.
This lawsuit is not against the county. It is against 22,000 voters
who voted for Measure A and won a resounding victory. It wasn't even close.

When will they get the message. We are sick of their stink, their
pesticides, their complete disregard and disrespect for their
neighbors, the list goes on.

The people of Butte County spoke loud and clear. They are sick and
tired of the pot industry and everything that it entails. And let's
not forget the family members who have been killed by drivers under
the influence. Measure A allows for "medical marijuana" only, and
according to some patients, two plants are enough for the whole year.
The people have voted. The law is the law.
