Regardless of what the federal government has to say about the issue, citizens across the country have voted for legalization for many reasons, not the least of which is the tax revenue generated by the emerging industry. Governor Charlie Baker and Senate President Stanley Rosenberg should also keep in mind that the Justice Department has given a slightly green light to Native American Tribes to grow and sell marijuana, despite the federal laws against it. As Dylan so aptly put it: "The times they are a-changin'." The war over this plant and on hemp has drowned under the weight of its own propaganda and misinformation, and Massachusetts voters know it. We will have the last word in this 50-year-long "Reefer Madness" movie, one way or another. Jim Pillsbury Framingham - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
