PUSHING THE PAWN WITH COLUMN FEEDBACK IN 2015

Ok new year, new ideas, new pothead thoughts. This is my 24th
"Passing the Joint" column and I want to bring something new to it
beginning next week. My column is every Thursday, my new idea I want
to try out is to be on the streets of Trenton every Thursday, talking
to the people of Trenton about my Column that day. I want feed back.

Another pothead idea I'll be executing, beginning Thursday Jan. 15 I
will be hosting a Cannabis Consumer Chess Tournament 6-10 p.m.

I'm a chess player. I've been playing since my uncle Byron Chinn
taught me when I was 11 years old. I'm more of a bong master than a
grand master but I'm better than the average player and I can push
those who claim they are great. I thought I was a very good player
until I went to prison (Chess College) in 2000 and ran into people
who played every day for years on end. That was a eye opener but I can play.

I never lived in Trenton so this tournament will serve as a meet and
greet. I've puffed a lot here, partied here and protested here but
never lived here. I find Trenton an interesting city and want to
start doing more things in the city. So keep a eye out for me. I want
to find an affordable spot to open a Spiritual Center in which I
could live as well. One of the interesting things I've noticed in my
travels around Trenton is I constantly notice people playing chess.
I've jumped out of the Weedmobile and took a puffs and played on a
few sidewalks. There are some very good players around Trenton, I
don't know what percentage have been to Chess College like myself but
after one of my THC induced epiphanies. I thought let's get a
Cannabis Chess Tournament going on here in the City.

According to Wikipedia: "The history of chess spans over 1500 years.
The earliest predecessor of the game probably originated in India,
before the 6th century AD; a minority of historians believe the game
originated in China. From India, the game spread to Persia. When the
Arabs conquered Persia, chess was taken up by the Muslim world and
subsequently spread to Southern Europe. In Europe, chess evolved into
roughly its current form in the 15th century."

I prefer to smoke a bowl or two, relax and play a match. So this
isn't going to be a typical meet and greet, but I'm not typical. I
want get to know the 420 residents and network with the locals. I'd
like to write about it in my column. (WOW - I still not used to this
from Burlington County jail to columnist)

Anyway I approached Champions Grill located at 931 Chambers Ave.,
about me hosting a Cannabis Chess Tournament and to my THC surprised
mind they said yes. So to all the pot smoking chess players in
Trenton who think they got game starting on Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. we will
be starting a tournament. Entree fee $4.20, the winner gets the POT.
No smoking on the premises. To those who can't attend you can watch
it live via webcam at:
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/passing-the-joint-show - To those who
want to debate me about my columns you're welcome too.
