BALLOTS AND DOLLARS

It is sad that the democracy in the United States has turned into a
system in which money decides the elections.

In Florida, it is a shame that we have a governor who wins a second
term with less that 50 percent of the vote, while Amendment 2 had 58
percent of the vote but failed to pass - a win for the drug dealers.

So basically, after all the millions of dollars spent on TV ads full
of lies and negativity, nothing changed. Florida will continue 'going
back to work' with a governor who bought a second term, and the very
ill will continue putting their lives at risk buying marijuana from
the drug dealers.
