ADVICE TO LAWYER

It appears that attorney John Morgan is already back in action to blow
more smoke about the medical marijuana amendment. The amendment as
written was an open invitation for rampant recreational use of
marijuana to get a high from the THC chemical component by smoking
it.

I am sure that would generate more legal business for attorneys but
would not be of much help for those seeking true medical treatment.
Those of us more informed understand that THC has few medical uses and
is already an available prescription drug legally dispensed as dronabinol.

If Mr. Morgan really is interested in getting the medical benefits of
the various cannabidiol compounds that can be used for medicinal
purposes, he needs to follow the example of New York state. New York
passed its marijuana law by allowing only low THC content cannabidiol
extracts in nonsmokable forms (oils, injections, pill) to be prescribe
by physicians in standardize doses for specific medical conditions. If
Mr. Morgan puts these restrictions in an amendment, it might pass, but
I am betting he's really not interested in medical marijuana without
the high. Voters will be treated with new ads blowing more smoke from
Mr. Morgan the next time around.
