JOHN MORGAN AND MEDICAL MARIJUANA: QUESTIONABLE MOTIVATION

Great to see that John "For the People" Morgan is putting up millions of dollars of his own money to promote the legalization of medical marijuana.  What a guy!

Ever wonder why he is so gung-ho on this? Think about it.  When someone using medical marijuana causes an accident, JM will represent the "victim" by suing the person who used it, their insurance company, the government that approved it, the doctor who prescribed it, the store that dispensed it, the farmer who grew it, and the vendor who provided the seeds.

Same thing when someone using medical marijuana develops lung cancer, mouth cancer, emphysema, or gains too much weight and becomes diabetic due to the "munchies."

Just think of all the other types of calamity that could result from people using marijuana recommended by a doctor -- the malpractice and personal injury lawsuits and big-dollar settlements boggle the mind.

Legalizing medical marijuana will be a gold mine for him and the other 40,000-plus personal injury attorneys in the state.  Every penny he spends now will come back to him a hundred fold in the future.

Or maybe he really is just a concerned philanthropic member of the community.
