THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

What is wrong with our society? How can parents keep their children in
line and off drugs when the police and the media are putting out the
impression that it is OK to use and sell drugs on Canada Day. Correct
me if I am wrong!

I was watching the news on Canada Day and right in front of the
Vancouver Art Gallery there was the sale of illegal drugs. It said
that they were selling marijuana and hash brownies on the street and
police were just watching.

Both are still illegal drugs but police said they were just there to
make sure nothing got out of hand. I think things are already out of
hand when police sit back and just watch illegal activity openly
happening on our streets and do absolutely nothing about it!

How can I tell my children not to break the law when our society
openly allows it to happen? What's next, Vancouver? Will heroin users
be allowed to stick a needle in their arm in public because it is OK
to celebrate Canada Day? Better yet, let's allow people to commit
murder but not lay charges because it is Canada Day.

Laws are laws. Let's get back on the right track. If you break the
law, you get arrested no matter what day it is. Parents can't tell
their children it is OK to do something on one day but not the next.
Something is either right or wrong.
