IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

Marijuana vs. cigarette use

Now I hear the government may outlaw cigarettes and make marijuana legal!

If one thinks marijuana won't kill, think again. A cigarette smoker
inhales the cigarette smoke, causing health problems ... eventually.
People who smoke marijuana inhale the smoke to get a "high," but they
inhale as much smoke as their lungs can hold, then finally release it
slowly for an extra high. Then they cough and cough like they're choking.

What is the government going to give the tobacco companies for
outlawing cigarettes? What extra addictive drug will be put into the
marijuana by our government to keep people on it, like they did with
cigarettes?

Service men and women smoke (and smoked) for their nerves on the
battlefield, but they can't smoke marijuana. Someone smoking
marijuana can lose control, get paranoid, can't move quickly. There
are all sorts of negative effects besides relaxing and doing dumb
things. When smokers use marijuana for a while, they want bigger
highs, which can lead to hard drugs.

Besides the wonders marijuana can do for pain, what is the
government's role for legalizing it? I'd guess it's control, making
it more addictive and adding big taxes on top of regular prices. Then
the government will have a placid America, a lot of which will be
no-good dopers. It's all about money for the government, isn't it?
