READERS AGREE ON 'SELFISH' HOFFMAN

Yours is the only intelligent statement I've yet seen. After the "60 
Minutes" production, I began to wonder whether I was the only one 
sick to my stomach. Of all the undiluted and misguided media spin, 
"60 Minutes" reached the pinnacle of my disgust by boosting the 
accomplishments of Hoffman to a nationwide and gullible audience. 
What with the media creating a national hero personage like that, 
it's no wonder there is an escalating drug problem.
