ADDICTIVE, DANGEROUS

In response the Dec. 4 Reader Forum letter ("Pot's racial inequality")
about the "decriminalization of marijuana," the writer refers to
marijuana as "a benign recreational drug."

As a physician and a father, he should know drugs that become
recreational are dangerous. If your children have an addictive
personality, their drug use will go far beyond recreational.

Nothing I can say will stop legalization. Thirty-one states, including
New Jersey, have bills to decriminalize marijuana possession. Citizens
of New Jersey, members of Congress and senators, beware what you are
releasing on your children. Pot doesn't care what color or ethnicity
you are.
