FLA. CONGRESSMAN'S HYPOCRISY

Re: "Fla. lawmaker pleads guilty to cocaine charge," Nov. 21 news brief.

The hypocrisy of Congressman Henry "Trey" Radel voting to require
poor, disadvantaged Florida residents on food stamps to submit to
drug testing as a condition of receiving their pittance to survive-
and then being found guilty of cocaine possession himself-is almost surreal.

It would seem to me that with a 9 percent approval rating, those in
Congress should submit to mandatory drug testing as a condition of
receiving taxpayer money to pay their bloated salaries.
