SYRIAN REBELS DON'T REPRESENT AMERICAN INTERESTS

Letter to the Editor

I didn't think I could ever agree with anything that was written by Leon Ceniceros.  But I completely agree with everything he wrote in his very thoughtful letter:"Syria could become another American military failure" ( 6-30-13 ).

I'd like to add that our enemies are not going to fight our fight.  If Muhammad Ali attempted to fight like Mike Tyson or George Foreman he probably wouldn't have won a single fight.  And if Tyson or Foreman tried to fight like Ali, they would not have won any fights.

Speaking of failures, we have completely wasted more than a trillion dollars in our failed war on certain ( politically selected ) drugs.  How long will it take before we learn our lesson?
