OPERATORS OF MARIJUANA DISPENSARY CHARGED

CADILLAC - Three individuals have been charged as codefendants in
84th District Court in Wexford County in connection with the
operation of the now-closed Twinn Bridges Compassion Club.

Christopher Frank Gee, 35, of Tustin, Kreig William Woodbury, 44, of
Evart, and Bradly Kreikaard each have been charged as codefendants in
connection with the operation of the business, which opened in November 2010.

The club has since closed voluntarily.

Gee told the Cadillac News prior to the arrests that the storefront
offered medical marijuana, grown by himself, in a variety of forms.

Charges filed against Gee and Woodbury include five counts of
racketeering for allegedly conducting a criminal enterprise as well
as numerous charges of delivery/manufacture of marijuana.

Kreikaard was charged in June.

The five racketeering charges against Gee span from Feb. 16, 2011, to
July 19, 2011, and each is punishable by up to 20 years in prison
and/or a fine of up to $100,000.

The delivery/manufacture counts against Gee span from Feb. 16, 2011,
to Aug. 16, 2011. Each of those counts is punishable by up to four
years in prison and/or a fine of up to $20,000.

Woodbury also is charged with delivery/manufacture of marijuana, but
with enhanced sentencing as a second offense. According to court
records, Woodbury has a conviction for attempted delivery of a
controlled substance in 1995. Woodbury has been charged with five
counts of delivery/manufacture of marijuana in incidents spanning
from May 26, 2011, to Aug. 16, 2011.

Woodbury also has been charged with five counts of racketeering
spanning from April 26, 2011, to Aug. 16, 2011, for allegedly being
employed or associated with Twinn Bridges Compassion Club.
