ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH

The Herald quoted a report that in Colorado, medical marijuana was 
being diverted to recreational use ("Growing pains," Sept. 12). The 
implication was that Colorado should repeal medical pot. The article 
didn't mention that Colorado voters may have a different solution in 
mind. If the initiative to legalize and regulate the sale of pot 
passes (and it appears to have a real chance), there will be no 
further confusion between medical and recreational use; each will 
have its place. And those who sell legally to adults will have a 
financial incentive not to sell to minors.
