ISN'T IT TIME FOR A MORE REASONABLE APPROACH TO MARIJUANA?

Regarding the seizure of what was described as "$2 million worth" of
plants recognized as legal medication in 17 states and the District of
Columbia, I had to say "Thank goodness this dangerous plant was kept
off our streets!"

Can you imagine what could have happened if it had made its way into
the hands of consenting adults who wished to engage in the victimless
act of consuming it especially if they had purchased it with their
lawfully acquired money? Crisis averted!

Isn't it time we had a serious look at where we spend law enforcement
dollars and focus on crimes where there is harm to people or property
like domestic violence and vandalism or financial harm like fraud
rather than peaceful, non-violent "offenders?"

Of course, we need to look out for unscrupulous people who would harm
children by giving them things they simply aren't mature enough to
handle and, as such, that would be a crime with not only a victim but
a minor child victim and should be punishable by law and subject to
civil legal action by the minor's family.

But when it comes to consenting adults, isn't it time for a more
reasonable approach? Please consider supporting Gary Johnson for
President if you think the "War on Drugs" is a waste of money (over a
trillion dollars!) and a colossal failure.
