POT BILL OVERDUE
Attorney General Martha Coakley is doing the right thing ("Medical
marijuana opponents fight AG on ballot question," May 27). Opponent
Heidi Heilman, as usual, attempts to scare or dissuade the public by
using morphine as an example. Morphine (derived from opium) has
created heroin addicts all over the world. Oxycontin and associated
legal drugs in the hands of anyone with addictive tendencies results
in doing anything to obtain said drug - stealing, violence,
prostitution. I have never known of any marijuana user doing any of
these things to obtain it.
