ANTI-MARIJUANA MERCENARY

Once again, we're treated to a full-page article about the dangers of
the marijuana dispensaries written by someone who is making a living
arguing against it.

He has something at stake, his income. I had something at stake, too.
I had metastasized melanoma and was given six months to live. But
being young and otherwise healthy, I decided to try a brutal form of
chemotherapy as a last-ditch attempt to keep me alive. Marijuana made
it possible for me to endure a year of it, mostly by giving me an
appetite and settling my stomach so that I could keep food down. That
was 35 years ago, and I had to break the law, but I'm alive today to
ask that you give equal time to those of us who actually know
something about this issue and who have no income at stake regarding it.
