END THE PHONY-REEFER MADNESS

I grieve for Karen Dobner on the loss of her son, who died in a car 
crash after using synthetic marijuana ("Angry mother rails at pol for 
delaying synthetic dope ban," March 23). But her anger is misplaced. 
Her son took the risk and chose to smoke a legal substance, not 
knowing how it would affect him.
