MARIJUANA EASES PAIN

Re "Time to face truth on pot" (Letters, Dec. 6): There is no such
thing as medical marijuana.

Marijuana is just marijuana, no matter how you twist
it.

But that doesn't mean that marijuana isn't a beneficial drug. The use
of "medical marijuana" has drastically changed people's lives and how
they deal with pain. It has the ability to treat people with
conditions from cancer to Parkinson's.

Yes, marijuana is a drug. It should be used like any other
prescription, but not abused. After all, people can also overdose on
regular prescription drugs.

If a high helps relieve pain, then light one up.
