POT CARDS LIKE DISABLED PLACARDS

What part of "illegal" don't these supporters of medical marijuana
comprehend? Congratulations to the Board of Supervisors and the Kern
County sheriff for taking a stand and restoring its illegality.

In this day and age, medical marijuana cards are just as easy to get
as handicapped placards; just tell a doctor you need one and, poof, it appears.

I had to laugh at the comments of one person who said he needed
"medical marijuana" because of valley fever and a degenerative disc.
I am just getting over a virus very similar to valley fever that I've
had since February. I have Type 2 diabetes, congestive heart failure,
renal failure, severe sleep apnea and two herniated discs. A couple
of Aleve every now and then and I'm good to go.

The majority of these "medical marijuana" supporters needs to get
cleaned up and go out and get jobs. How about "putting the monkey on
the back" of the doctors who write these "prescriptions"? Let their
offices become dispensaries. Hold them accountable for handling all
of the transactions and see if they would still be as willing to
write prescriptions as freely as they do now.
