WHY DEPRIVE THOSE IN NEED OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA?

John Noakes said that he has had surgeries to deal with Crohn's
disease. The irony being that if he had used cannabis to treat his
Crohn's -- like many other people do -- he might not even need the surgeries.

I know one guy who smokes a tiny little bit of pot a day, and he says
"it is like my Crohn's is gone." But without that little tiny bit of
pot, he said it feels like he has a gut full of broken glass.

Should he be deprived of this life-saving medicine, and be forced into
surgery and pharmaceutical use, simply because podunk nincompoops like
the editors of this piece of kennel-liner that calls itself a
newspaper think that "drugs are bad"?

Many Canadians think so. I use 10 grams a day to combat my PTSD and
fibromyalgia. I haven't felt this good in 20 years, and exhibit no
outward signs of intoxication. In fact, I am confident that I could
pass any roadside sobriety test, even after smoking five joints in an
hour.

Should I be deprived of my medicine simply because podunk nincompoops
who can't use Google are "afraid" of people being "stoned" in public?

Should I be forced back into my wheelchair and a life of impotence and
dependence, simply because Stephen Harper disapproves of "sixties drug
culture"?
