RICHMOND MAN SHOT OVER DRUG DEAL GONE BAD

Macomb County sheriff's detectives are investigating an incident late
Sunday where a man 22-year-old man from Richmond was shot in the chest
during a drug deal gone bad.

Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said the victim connected with three
individuals over the internet about buying some marijuana. The man
told authorities he has a medical marijuana card that allows him to
buy marijuana for health purposes.

During the transaction several shots were fired with one striking the
Richmond man in the arm and the bullet traveled into his chest,
Wickersham said.

Deputies are looking for three black men in a mid-size SUV, possibly a
Land Rover or Ford Explorer.

"The victim is in stable condition at an area hospital," Wickersham
said. "Our detectives are checking to see if the victim has a medical
marijuana card and where he can buy marijuana."
