Medical Marijuana: LIMITATIONS SEEM ABSURD

Does it seem a bit contradictory that the Republicans are seeking to
limit a free-market, profit-driven industry? I have to admit that I
haven't used pot since my "hippy days" in the '60s, and at the time,
was unaware of the medicinal properties of the substance. I have since
become aware of folks who use marijuana for relief for various health
issues.

Trying to limit the number of patients using marijuana seems absurd
given the many and various health issues for which it provides relief.
With more than 300 deaths in Montana attributable to alcohol and the
abuse of prescription drugs, and none that can be attributed to
marijuana, either used for medicinal purposes or recreationally, I
would ask that the governor veto Senate Bill 423 if it ever gets to
his desk.
