MEDICAL MARIJUANA LAW WAS PASSED BY VOTERS
This letter is in response to the police raid on the Marshall
Alternatives dispensary. How long will it take for the police and
judges to realize the voters of Michigan approved the medical use of
marijuana?
In March, I was in the 52-1 District Court in front of Judge Brian
MacKenzie for a traffic violation. When the judge was informed I had a
medical marijuana card issued to me from the state of Michigan, the
judge said he would make it impossible for me to use marijuana. There
were no issues or charges against me for drug use or possession.
How can the state of Michigan allow judges to practice medicine
without a medical license? This judge would rather I take narcotic
pain medications and other more dangerous and damaging drugs to manage
my health.
And don't forget the two years of drug testing mandated by Judge
MacKenzie on me.
